Our Try-It Events are the perfect opportunity to get on the ice and experience the excitement of sledge (para) hockey—no experience or equipment required!
Hosted by the Calgary Sledge Hockey Association, these free sessions are open to individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re living with a physical disability or just curious about adaptive sport, our welcoming and inclusive environment ensures everyone can participate, learn, and have fun.
What to Expect:

All equipment provided – including sleds, sticks, and safety gear

Support from experienced coaches and volunteers

Beginner-friendly instruction on sled movement, passing, and shooting
